On 'Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey'
I always wondered how it's possible that people ostacrize their family members in church like what Jehovah witness people do but watching this documentary really exposed the sinister occurrences. That's cult right there.
And you just think, 'how is it possible for a woman to cut ties with the child she laboured for hours to deliver." And you realize it's a control. Mind control in the name of religion. I went on a binge of other cult documentaries and lemme tell you, it's a whole different level.
I had thought that Escaping Twin flames was crazy. This documentary was on a fucking different level of crazy. The craziest part, this shit happened in America and is still happening now in the 21st century. 21st fucking century.
If my jaw was on the floor with escaping twin flames, this time my whole head fell off. Cos what!!!! How do you wield control over thousands of people at this level?
It's cos of religion, of course, and that promise of an afterlife. If you are not pious, if you are not subservient. If you are not completely obedient, you will be damned for eternity. You need to suffer in this present world, in order to have an eternal life. Then the work to gain this acceptance into afterlife includes forcefully marrying children. 13 year olds. 14 year olds. One man marrying 60 something wives. My goodness!! They are isolated from the outside world. Women do not go to school. Literally made to breed children. One lady in the documentary had 6 children by the time she was 24
This prophet is literally the ones telling both men and women who to marry. Men, grownass men told to hand over their businesses to the church. And they all did. On top of that, told each adult has to give the pastor $1000 every week for some time. This dude was extorting $300,000 every week from his members. As the will of fucking God.
Which brings me back to if we didn't have this overly fear of God, and life after death, the people parading as his prophets, and pastors will have that no control over other people. Cos it's this fear of a supernatural being, the fear of the unknown and what will happen when you die that keeps people in such a fucking leash
Like guys. In another documentary I'd seen, "Escapism, season 2 and the last episode" one pastor like that actually made over 900 of his church members to commit mass suicide. Mass suicide in the name of fucking what? That the outside world is against them and they are all dying to go to a better place
Now before you put your nose up high that "it can never be me", you are probably in a religious cult. When you can't question your Father Reverend. When you can't fathom why anyone is criticising your pastor. When you can't make a decision or follow through on something because of your priest. When you have to take permission from your pastor to marry someone or for them to reveal to you that God told them who your partner is. When your pastor can do no wrong cos he is ordained by God.
That's because you've been manipulated and conditioned to follow their whims. And really, the only difference between what had happened to those people in the documentary and you is that you weren't born there.
Nope, not because you're smart or cos you can read the word of God for yourself, but because you weren't born in that community. Honestly, this piece didn't do any justice to what went on in this documentary. You just need to watch it cos what the actual fuck.
