Notions (Self conversation)
This life is fickle, hence it's necessary to live your authentic life. By this I mean, a life you're most comfortable not one that you're living because others said it's right because this life can be gone on a whim.
You can die in the twinkle of an eye, the breath I take now can possibly choke me and I'm done. See how Covid-19 with over 90% recovery rate is killing off people as though they are chickens. That's why it's essential you make peace with your inner self to discover the kinda life that suits you best and that which you find your hope so as to live in line with it.
If Christianity is the most satisfying for you, find peace and connection with Christ,
If it's Muslim, Allah will suffice,
Ọ bụrụ kwanụ that you believe neither, na Ị bụ a traditionalist, good and fine!
If you're on the spectrum of irreligiousness and it's science or nature that you believe, heck that's valid and is your life.
Even if you are contented in humanity, that's absolutely fine.
Just endeavour that you live the veracity of the kind of life you choose for yourself. Do not let nobody impose their beliefs, or make you feel guilt about how you choose to practice your faith/lack of faith (as long as it's not hurting anyone).
Cos if you continue to try to placate everyone, to act as though the life they designed for themselves is the ideal and will work for you too, you'll see yourself running from pillar to post trying to find a stance of which most times you'll never get relief.
But first, you need a conversation with yourself!
Ọ dị oke mkpa to start early, especially those of us that are new to this adulthood of a thing. It's essential to hold that conversation as so to navigate this life with 'it' as the blueprint.
At the end of the day, you're actually living life for yourself. And if you are not at peace with how you are living, to what end are you even existing in the first place.
Taking people's ideas, especially when it comes to belief system is always tricky especially when it comes from people who act all superior and try to belittle or make out your stance as if it's unworthy.
Flee from such people! Ọ kwa ọsọ na ije.
No one knows it all, especially all these 'ITK'. They only know what they feed their mind which is why you should feed your mind with whatever and stick to that. It will help you a great deal in this life we stumbled into and will prevent you from continuously arguing to defend your viewpoint, of which most times the arguments are never settled amicably, at all even.
So there, have a conversation with your person. You'd be surprised to realise how refreshing that exercise is.
You should pay heed to this advice,
Or Not.
