Screenwriting tips from Veterans

Screenwriting is not a day's skill and myself have only embarked on this journey. There are gazillions of stories to tell, and as someone who is very critical of the content of Nollywood screen, especially the very small screens that the average African families watch daily.

Though the Neo-Nollywood have begun exerting some changes that we see on the small screen, majority of the stories are still far from being 'it' and the Industry is big enough to accommodate as much people as possible cos let's face it, "there are lots and lots of stories to tell."

So in subsequent posts, I'd be sharing screenwriting tips from Veterans in the filmmaking industry, albeit Hollywood. Maybe, just maybe taking up hints of that industry will make Nollywood improve on filmmaking and we will have enough, enough stories that won't make us roll our eyes or cringe with the blandness.

Notions (Wi-Fi)

We don't know what we have until we lose it. I had written something down on this particular issue, and that had been a depressing stuff. However, the one I'm emphasising on today is actually more stupid than sad, although I'm very sad about it. From my first year, I had prided myself in it having subscribed a monthly data plan by myself while school is in session. It's not difficult to guess the reason for my boasting, WI-FI, my very own "Lionet WiFi". Then, YouTube and Instagram was my second home. Took so long

 It took me a while to come to this realisation I can criticise orthodox Christianity while enjoying gospel music. I can decide not to be religious, but groove to music You know why? Because music is transcendental. Same way you enjoy secular music as a Christian.
