It took me a while to come to this realisation I can criticise orthodox Christianity while enjoying gospel music. I can decide not to be religious, but groove to music You know why? Because music is transcendental. Same way you enjoy secular music as a Christian. Same way I'd enjoy an artist music without necessarily liking them as a person There is legit no black and white in matters of ideologies, faith, etc Most things are in the grey
​Making a promise is easy but keeping them is much harder. Just like the saying "Easier said than done". Personally, I hold promises very dear to my heart and I rather prefer a person not to promise me than failing to keep such promise. I remember a story I read online which made me angry for some reason but I will just summarize it. "A man lost his wife for nearly a decade and he didn’t remarry. He kinda resorted to criticising people that remarried and promised his last son that he wouldn't remarry at first. He even swore that even if he would it would be later and such be for companionship and he wouldn't have other kids again. In less than a year after saying that he got married and even had a kid" I'm just imagining how the child would have felt. Of course, he believed the father cos he trusted him but he could not live to the expectation.
