I read a post on Facebook where the poster was urging that people should vote for black books to be turned to novels (Now I'm not talking about thrashy Nani Boi and his brethren). Genevieve Mama be doing Nigeria Proud. Lionheart is what I call a movie not the nonsensical trash that we always see in the name of movies. The movie is Bae, I can't get over it. I shaa am still mid-way through the movie and surprise surprise, I haven't fast forwarded it at all. The setting, theme, language, acting. It just flows like what I film should be. The usual stereotypes in Nollywood wasn't there at all. There are scenes which can't help but make you laugh because of how reminiscing it is. I loved how they Incorporated Igbo in the film especially the usage of proverbs by Pete Edochie and Osofia. I loved the actors that were used, The depiction of Nigeria as it actually is. I follow lots of people on Facebook (more like stalking), you know these highly intellectual humans who are always making scholarly posts that get more likes more than pictures. I don't mean these thrashy 'Like if you love Jesus' posts, I'm talking of personal accounts with over 10k followers.
