Jamb Exams...

Xup guyz, I just want to express my views on the current sensation in our country now. The news that Jamb should be scrapped and that students should just register to the school of their choices. I am not quite sure if the news is true or not but I completely agree with it... Its my personal opinion though. 

My reasons are quite simple. The first being that it isn't really neccessary to take another exams before entering the Higher institution as long as a person has written her WASSCE or/and NECO. I was very grateful when the POST UTME EXAMS was removed and I hope same happens now. Aspiring students should just buy forms from the universities of their choice and register with their O'level results. 

Another reason is the cost of Jamb too. Its somehow expensive and most times the scores we see are totally disappionting which makes me wonder where the fault arises from... Is it from the marking scheme, the question type or the students, well, I don't really know. 

Also, In our country today, most admission cases is on nepotism and mediocracy. Some may argue that it will probably be worse because admission will now be scarce but I doubt that. I mean, if we register our WASSCE result online for screening, I believe that Jamb will post people to different schools, and then screening exercise will continue from there...

I am optimistic that admission will be easier if Jamb exams is removed. It will even make students more serious with WASSCE, NECO or GCE exams. I hope it happens but that notwithstanding, the decision lies with the authority. So what do you think, Should it be scrapped or not? Please give your reasons

Notions (Wi-Fi)

We don't know what we have until we lose it. I had written something down on this particular issue, and that had been a depressing stuff. However, the one I'm emphasising on today is actually more stupid than sad, although I'm very sad about it. From my first year, I had prided myself in it having subscribed a monthly data plan by myself while school is in session. It's not difficult to guess the reason for my boasting, WI-FI, my very own "Lionet WiFi". Then, YouTube and Instagram was my second home. Took so long

 It took me a while to come to this realisation I can criticise orthodox Christianity while enjoying gospel music. I can decide not to be religious, but groove to music You know why?
