Procrastination...

I decided to write on procrastination cos it's one of the reasons people fail to achieve their aim. To procrastinate means "to delay" a plan intentionally or not... Its a common occurrence in our everyday lives. People tend to delay or push  to a later time, things that can be achieved immediately example chores, plans, especially the "new year resolution"... This is the most severe case of procrastination, Infact only a few people actually put to practice what they resolved at the beginning of the year and when we continue that way, we realize that we never achieved anything in the year.  Infact, I always procrastinate on my resolutions that I decided to stop writing one but I try not to postpone what I planned though it can be very difficult, thus it requires self-consciousness and discipline to curb that.

How should I discipline himself.

Its hard to control oneself especially if the trait wasn't developed at childhood. Even those that were taught discipline require self-control to keep up the trait because if a person looses it, its quite difficult to regain it again. But for those who didn't, I believe that a person can walk towards it by having determination. By this, I don't mean just verbal declaration or writing it down but a serious resolve in mind. Then, he should start having a plan to do great. Also, be optimistic, always have good thoughts, because self-deprecation leads to low self esteem. People who overcome procrastination always have a reason or circumstances that initiated it but that doesn't mean that a person without a story can't do it. I believe in the saying 'I can do it' but I always know that "we can do better if only we try harder". Above all, God's guidance makes us able to overcome it. I believe that a person can do that he sets his mind to do, I hope you overcome it, am trying, infact am much better than before and I hope it will be same for you....

Still yours...
