On Dancing for the Devil

 

For someone like me that had fallen prey for brainwashing 419, I can totally get how people become brainwashed to religious cults. Especially if you're doing it for "supposed protection" of your family.

The craziest thing about this documentary is that the religious audio snippets by the cult leader is probably the least impressive thing you'd ever listen to. Like the very least, bottom barrel.

Okay maybe I'm just biased to never take anything that is covered under the umbrella of religion as trustworthy but this is just crazy. Like literally, once I hear men of God, my brain just screams "Grain of salt. Take this with a full spoon of salt."

So you're telling me that you're a Christian, and you read your bible and someone is telling you they're the only way to God and you believe it? My heart goes out to the victims though.

Promises...

​Making a promise is easy but keeping them is much harder. Just like the saying "Easier said than done". Personally, I hold promises very dear to my heart and I rather prefer a person not to promise me than failing to keep such promise.  I remember a story I read online which made me angry for some reason but I will just summarize it. "A man lost his wife for nearly a decade and he didn’t remarry. He kinda resorted to criticising people that remarried and promised his last son that he wouldn't remarry at first. He even swore that even if he would it would be later and such be for companionship and he wouldn't have other kids again. In less than a year after saying that he got married and even had a kid" I'm just imagining how the child would have felt. Of course, he believed the father cos he trusted him but he could not live to the expectation. Passion

I believe in Football and the impact it has had on my life. For me Football have always been more than just a game to play with friends. To me Football was everything, I had Football posters, Football pillow cases, watched Football movies. My whole life revolved around Football. I’ve been consumed by it since the day I was born. When I was young I was like any other kid except for I have always been short and until about age 11 I was skinny as a twig. These two faults in my genetic make up made it so it was hard for me to do some things I wanted to do. My favorite sport had always been football, but due to my size I did not meet the size requirements to play. So because of that I had to play other sports such as Dodgeball and Relay.
