On Dinosaurs and human existence

 


Fascinating. Dinosaurs went extinct 60+ million years ago. The bible history as we know it is only 6000 years ago. It blows my mind.

I believe there are definitely other species in the galaxies that human beings haven't discovered yet (and hopefully we shouldn't). And the question (for me at least) has never been about whether there is God (or supernatural being). The question is whether this being is interested in with human beings affairs, as as plebeian as we are. Probably not. We're most likely left to our devices and maybe this being chimes in when he is bored. 

All I'm saying is that prayer is not going to help Nigeria. It doesn't matter if you're able to pray for 12 hours like that church in my first year wanted. Even the audacity of a church member to ask me why I didn't attend. Like me chinenye, pray for 12 hours, Is it ment?? 

Once he asked me that stupid question, I never went back to that church again. Kmt

Notions (Wi-Fi)

We don't know what we have until we lose it. I had written something down on this particular issue, and that had been a depressing stuff. However, the one I'm emphasising on today is actually more stupid than sad, although I'm very sad about it. From my first year, I had prided myself in it having subscribed a monthly data plan by myself while school is in session. It's not difficult to guess the reason for my boasting, WI-FI, my very own "Lionet WiFi". Then, YouTube and Instagram was my second home. I dallied a bit on WhatsApp and Facebook, but my base was YouTube. I knew the latest songs that were released, the trending ones and the views each was getting. It went as far as checking the comments in each video. This girl didn't know that my WiFi will be stripped from me without warning. Took so long

 It took me a while to come to this realisation I can criticise orthodox Christianity while enjoying gospel music. I can decide not to be religious, but groove to music You know why? Because music is transcendental. Same way you enjoy secular music as a Christian.
