On Tunnel Visions

Intellectual. That's what I was called. Until I found tech and now I'm nothing more than a worker-bee. It was supposed to be my gateway to wealth but little did I know I would lose my articulation in the pursuit of the industry. I'll admit it's nobody's fault but mine.

When I think of technological tools, it's always about optimization. Are the pages responsive? Are user interactions intuitive enough?

But ironically, I did not adapt same principles to myself. In a bid for a career chase, I've become too rigid in my approach, with a single vision focused on development. I should have the liberty to be able to express my thoughts, while still spending 6 hours on vscode meeting a Yearly Wrapped goal. I should...

Today was something else. Tiring but well spent. (8/8/2019) My first class by 7, and we ran to Political science Dept as it was raining. I didn't really stay through the lectures, it was occupied. I took some shots cos I felt I was dressing cool and all. From there, I went back to the department and my friends and I decided to go to the market to measure the clothes my friends and I would wear for our departmental night. Be awake

 While you're yet to discover your passion/purpose in future, can you just learn simple handy skills to have (just in case)... I know we've said since time immemorial not to pressure anyone or to rest from lockdown, but going with the state of this country, it's of utmost importance that you awake from your slumber. The time for sleeping is gone - over. You should be wide awake by now. This country is a mess... We are on our own. So as you're yet to discover the passion/purpose you should have, try and learn something significant. Learn Google and MS suites - at least even if you no learn anything to do now. Many Undergraduates cannot even navigate as little as MS Word. They don't know what index is, Text alignment, Pagination, etc... Not to talk of the other suites. On building JavaScript without help - 1

I know, I have not garnered the expertise YET That I'm very much, still a beginner in web development But it doesn't make me feel any less sad. Because when I follow along tutorials, I grasp what the instructor is doing. And I code along with them However, when push comes to shove (as it did this afternoon, I'm stuck) However, I'm not going to beat myself up, cos I actually succeeded in creating a toggle on the DOM And I'd been wrapping my head around how I did those.  Of course, I know this is a progress, and I tried.
