On Scandal (the series)

Just in the first scene of Annalise Keating walking into that classroom and writing "How to get away with murder" on the blackboard, you already know you're in for a ride. By the end of the first episode with that death scene, you're sold.

In Grey's Anatomy first episode when Meredith got to the hospital and saw that Derek Shepherd, the man she slept with the previous night was an attending. Then by the end of season one when we found out he was actually married, the gaggery. As a viewer, you literally went Holy shit with her. Unless your phone was at 1%, nothing would stop you from starting the next season immediately.

The last scene for Scandal season 1 was the most anticlimactic reveal I've seen in the history of series endings. I literally hissed, turned off my data and went to sleep.

I managed to start season 2 to know if I'll be hooked, I'm still not feeling Olivia Pope. She had been having an affair with the president candidate and shinning teeth with the wife. Like girllll, really. Like sleep with whoever you want but what the hell is this sanctimoniousness? With her facial expression that always looks like she wants to start crying. I have a massive distaste for people like that. Own your shit with your full chest.

Addison Montgomery-Shepherd was my favourite character in the first few seasons of Grey's Anatomy. She cheated on her husband with his best friend. And she owned it. She acknowledged her fault and never for once did she form a victim for what she did.

They don't make movies like this anymore. This is cinema. Like you spent the whole of season 1, watching Meredith grow as a character and she and Derek them falling in love. Then, just when you think the series is ending on a good note, you see Addison walk into this scene and that's the end of season 1.

The way I jumped to season 2. I can't even imagine how those that had to wait for the next year to start season 2.

I admit I went into this Scandal with a grudge considering the adultery and how I don't like political series but I'm done. Scandal is underwhelming for me. The side characters are just meh, not even giving energy to root for them. Not a single enthusiasm to keep watching the next episode. Plus that camera shutter sounds in between some cuts just downright affects my eyes.

Yes I'm a hater. I tried so hard to like this series but guess it's just not for me. Lemme go back to Blacklist
