Memories...

So, I decided to put up throwback pictures. I went on a trip with friends after our high graduation. We visited calabar courtsey of the bishop.

We arrived at the basilica on monday being the 25th of July. Then we were given t-shirts for our journey the next day. We packed up our bags ready for travelling and boarded the bus(it was 2)

Then we arrived at the suite(La lush suites) in the evening and were assigned to different rooms. We were tired, so we had to rest.
The next morning, we prepared and everybody put on their clothes as our colour code was "Blue"

We visited Tinapa first, but we didn't have much leisure cos it was raining. The tourist guard explained the area well like the fabric section, water park, warehouse and the rest... After that, we had fun at the casino. Later, we went to the Calabar mall called "Spar"  and bought a few things before heading back to the suite

We ate our dinner and retired to bed. I forgot to mention that we went for mass in the morning.

On the third day, we went to the musuem. Marina resort/slave trade musuem. We werent allowed to take photographs there but they explained our history well. Later we went to the cinema and watched "legend of Tarzan"  and we were given popcorn and mineral.
In  evening we had a farewell party.. #sobs

Our farewell party

My friends...

The next day was very hectic coz we were going back. Unfortunately, our bus spoilt so we had to sleep over at Enugu(Roban Hotel, precisely). We left for Onitsha the next day and prayed at the basilica before dispersing.

Oh, I almost forgot about Baby Ebere. She joined us with her mom on the trip and am sure she enjoyed herself as much as we did.

Overall, I am happy I embarked on this trip. I would have regretted it if I had not gone. I am grateful to The Catholic Bishop, "Most Rev'd Maduka Okeke"  for his benevolence. I hope he continues to sponsor our school for this yearly trip. Though, we were originally ment to travel to Tanzania if not for  Economy recession, but all the same, It was a worthy trip. I pray God bless them abundantly for their efforts.

Still yours...
