  Personally, I believe What usually causes that supposed anointing is vertigo. That's how one prayer house put a leg for me cos I refused to fall under their anointing. A na-ekwu that I never liked going out, then we were always going to different churches and ministries to my absolute annoyance. I can never forget when I was going to church in my first year and the pastor said to hold your neighbour and prophesy to them. Normally, I've never gotten the fruit of the spirit in my life so I did nothing and continued praying. This girl that held my hand started guessing different things. I kept telling her, "nah, nothing like that in my life. No one in my relative lived in so and so place. Sorry, that's not about me." It was definitely awkward. To my shock, after this prophecy session, pastor actually said on the pulpit, "if you didn't get it correctly this time, keep trying. You'll get the hang of it."   Fascinating. Dinosaurs went extinct 60+ million years ago. The bible history as we know it is only 6000 years ago. It blows my mind. I believe there are definitely other species in the galaxies that human beings haven't discovered yet (and hopefully we shouldn't). And the question (for me at least) has never been about whether there is God (or supernatural being). The question is whether this being is interested in with human beings affairs, as as plebeian as we are. Probably not. We're most likely left to our devices and maybe this being chimes in when he is bored.  All I'm saying is that prayer is not going to help Nigeria. It doesn't matter if you're able to pray for 12 hours like that church in my first year wanted. Even the audacity of a church member to ask me why I didn't attend. Like me chinenye, pray for 12 hours, Is it ment??  Once he asked me that stupid question, I never went back to that church again. Kmt
